Before becoming a founding partner of Garcia Habacon & Han, Mr. Carlos P. Garcia spent years practicing litigation in top firms in the Philippines, particularly in Siguion Reyna, Montecillo & Ongsiako, from 2016 to 2017, and in Sycip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan, from 2014 to 2016.
He has acted as an advocate for different multi-national companies and individuals in a wide variety of cases such as intra-corporate wars, product liability suits, contract enforcement cases against government agencies, and criminal cases concerning graft and corruption, frustrated homicide, perjury, robbery, and violations of environmental laws, among others.
His practice involves representation of clients in courts of various levels, from municipal trial courts up to the Supreme Court, and in different administrative agencies, including the Department of Trade and Industry, the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board, and the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also handles ad-hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings.
He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2013, with Second Honors, after which he was admitted to the Bar in 2014. In 2009, he obtained a degree in Bachelor of Science in Management, Major in Legal Management, Minor in International Business, from the Ateneo De Manila University.

Before founding the Firm, Mr. George Matthew T. Habacon worked in Siguion Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako primarily handling litigation, arbitration, and labor and employment matters. From 2014 to 2016, he worked in Sycip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan practicing under its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department and its Employment and Immigration Department.
He started his legal career as an Associate in the Nisce Mamuric Guinto Rivera and Alcantara (NMGRA) Law Office primarily handling commercial transactions, corporate-house keeping, taxation and civil litigation matters.
Mr. Habacon represents the Firm's clients in commercial matters before various government agencies. He has rendered legal advice and transactional assistance to current and previous clients. He advises the firm's corporate clients on, and help them manage, compliance and good governance. He serves as corporate secretary in several corporations, assisting the client in managing director and stockholder meetings, share issuances and transfers, record keeping, and complying with reporting requirements imposed by respective government agencies.
Mr. Habacon also handles employment and labor matters where he provides advice to employers on Philippine labor laws and assists companies in their day-to-day employment- related issues and concerns. He is experienced in all phases of civil, criminal, and corporate litigation covering a wide variety of legal matters.
He was also a contributor to the 2014 Doing Business Handbook published by the World Bank Group.
He is currently a lecturer at the University of Asia and the Pacific teaching Conflicts of Law. He is also the current Chancellor of the Rizal Philippine Annual Conference East of the United Methodist Church.

Stefano Dong Chul C. Han received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2013 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2014. Prior to becoming a partner in Garcia Habacon & Han, he has worked in Mosveldtt Law Offices and The Law Firm of Ferrer. He is one of the few, if not the first, Filipino-Korean lawyers in the country today.
Mr. Han specializes in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, particularly in the fields of civil, commercial, labor, criminal, property, immigration and administrative law. He has handled a plethora of cases such as contract disputes, collection, estafa, theft, B.P. 22, falsification, recognition of foreign judgments, support, malicious prosecution, illegal dismissal, among others.
He likewise has experience in bidding and procurement of government projects, which includes negotiating with local government units. Moreover, he has performed various due diligence in relation to acquisitions and mergers of companies.
